Dining Experiences
Ikos Porto Petro is a haven for food lovers, with multiple restaurants offering diverse global cuisines. On our first night, we dined at Fresca, the resort’s Italian restaurant—think handmade pasta, truffle-infused sauces, and perfect wine pairings. Absolutely delicious. This restaurant was located about 10 minutes’ walk from reception and has the benefit of being beach front, you can request a table on the beach which was amazing. On the second night, we indulged in Asian fusion delights at Anaya, a sophisticated venue with bold flavours and impeccable service. Located 2 mins from the reception but with no less outstanding views of the sea. Dining inside or out, the ambiance is relaxed and romantic and the food was fabulous. Our last night we dined in The Market, a buffet with tastes from around the world. This is a more casual dining experience, and is a great option if you are travelling with children as they cater very well for the younger guests (and the children there loved the fact they were able to serve themselves – be warned, the desert section was very popular with lots of ice cream and sweets to choose from)
Breakfast and lunch are served casually—no reservations needed. Dinner bookings, however, are essential and can be easily made through the Ikos app. The Market buffet is outstanding for breakfast with a huge range of culinary delights for you to enjoy in a leisurely environment. À la carte breakfast is served at Fresco, Olivia, and Seasons (Exclusive to Deluxe guests). À la carte Lunch is served in Fresco, Beach Club, Seasons (again exclusive to deluxe guests) and The Market.
The Oliva restaurant, serves up beautiful Spanish cuisine. Again located 2 mins from reception, it has a fantastic view of the beautiful harbour town of Porto Petro. From Monday to Friday, they also host a complimentary wine tasting session, open to all guests with advance booking. A professional sommelier is also available at various restaurants during your stay, ready to guide you through an extensive wine list.
The Beach Club restaurant is located next to the main pool area and boasts beachfront views. It serves a Mediterranean inspired à la carte menu and is open for lunch and dinner.
Season’s restaurant offers a luxurious à la carte menu in a stylish setting. This restaurant emphasizes the use of seasonal produce and the menu combines fresh Mediterranean ingredients with Asian flavours. This restaurant is for deluxe guests only and is open for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
Pools, Bars & Activities
There are several pools to explore, each with its own vibe. The main pool is lively with daily activities like aqua aerobics and live music playing throughout the day. Lunch times across the resort, generally start from 1pm, however there are plenty of snacks available throughout the day (handy for those travelling with younger children) There are a total of 7 pools with plenty of baby and child pools as well as adult only pools for those looking for something a little more restful. The staff are always on hand to bring you your favourite tipple throughout the day. The resort is fully inclusive so all drink and food is included. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. They really make your stay very personal.
