€25,000 Raised: A Landmark Day for Parentline & Supporters
On December 4th, the Westbury Hotel became the setting for an extraordinary afternoon of generosity, connection and purpose, as Parentline hosted their annual fundraising lunch. The Travel Suite is proud to highlight and celebrate the outstanding success of this event — one that showcased the true power of community collaboration.
The gathering brought together 150 remarkable women, whose collective goodwill helped raise over €25,000 for Parentline. This significant contribution will directly support the charity’s essential services, offering confidential, non-judgmental guidance to parents facing challenges at every stage of raising children. For over 43 years, Parentline has supported more than 160,000 parents, acting as a trusted, steady voice during difficult moments.
In a compassionate extension of their mission, the event also enabled a donation to UNICEF, supporting children in Gaza — a region where approximately 64,000 children have been reported killed or injured. This gesture reflects the far-reaching impact made possible when Irish businesses and individuals unite for a shared purpose.
The Parentline event was beautifully hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan, whose warmth and professionalism as MC created an atmosphere filled with encouragement and positivity. A much-loved feature of the afternoon was the raffle, supported by over 30 generous businesses who contributed hampers and prizes — adding excitement while demonstrating the strength of Ireland’s philanthropic spirit.
