The Resort : This elegant boutique resort is the only Relais & Châteaux member on the island and is located on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic on an approximately 12,000-hectare estate, surrounded by tropical nature, the 18-hole Punta Espada golf course, and the stunning white sandy beach at the Caletón Beach Club. Three restaurants and two bars offer fine dining and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. The resort also features two swimming pools, a wellness and spa area, and a fitness center. Children (4 to 12 years old) are looked after at the Koko Kid’s Club. The exclusive marina is nearby, and Punta Cana Airport is approximately 20 km away.
The rooms: A total of 58 spacious suites and 5 bungalows are spread across the exclusive garden area and the beach area. They are elegantly decorated in a Mediterranean colonial style. Tropical colors and style elements, local artwork, and colorful fabrics give the rooms a Caribbean touch. They are equipped with a bathroom and separate rain shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, satellite TV, DVD player, iPod docking station, telephone, Wi-Fi (free of charge), coffee/tea maker, walk-in closet, minibar, safe, and air conditioning.
Luxury Pool Junior Suite (17) approx. 77 sqm: With a terrace, private pool, exclusive spa and relaxation area, and views of the manicured garden or the lagoon.
Luxury Pool One Bedroom Suite (8) approx. 102 sqm: Like the Luxury Pool Junior Suite but with a separate living area.
Beachfront One Bedroom Suite (20) approx. 110 sqm: In the beach area with a terrace or balcony and sea view.
Oceanfront Bungalow (3) approx. 74 sqm: Located directly on the ocean and close to the Beach Club. With a terrace, separate living room, infinity pool or Jacuzzi, and personalized butler service.
Sports & Leisure: Fitness center. For a fee: Diving, windsurfing, tennis, catamaran sailing, kayaking, and horseback riding (local providers). The 18-hole Punta Espada golf course is located directly at the hotel and was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Spa & Wellness: The Eden Roc Spa by Naatura Bisse pampers its guests with six luxurious spa cabanas. The high-quality treatments promise unique relaxation and were designed based on ancestral traditions and the flavors of the island. For a fee: Massages, treatments, beauty treatments, hammam, sauna, Jacuzzi, and spa pool.
Meals: American breakfast at the Mediterraneo is included. Half-board includes a 3-course dinner at the Mediterraneo or La Palapa by Eden Roc. Full-board includes a 3-course lunch at La Palapa by Eden Roc.
Culinary: The elegant Mediterraneo restaurant serves exclusive dishes made with Mediterranean ingredients. The Blue Grill + Bar restaurant tempts with a casual poolside ambiance, exotic cocktails, and innovative dishes. La Palapa by Eden Roc at the Caletón Beach Club indulges in fish specialties, and Hoyo 19 by the golf course invites you to take a culinary break. Enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink at the Riva Bar with its vintage 1960s charm and live piano.
