Day 1
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a representative of Jetwing Travels and directly transferred to Negombo
Approx. 20 mins drive.

Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Dambulla, Approx. 3 ½ hrs drive. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple – Dambulla is famous for the five cave Temples on a rock. The first 03 caves are better, older and larger than the other two. Some caves date to 1st C.B.C. All 5 cave walls and ceilings are covered with Buddhist murals and there are more than 130 Buddha statues, statues of Gods and Kings are also found here.
After, visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Sigiriya – is a “World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot-high rock. On its summit are the foundations of the Royal Palace, Water Tanks to supply water and all other buildings, and at the edges the guardhouses. On one of the stairways the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of Frescoes of 21 life sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original colour. The Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, summerhouse, Boulder Gardens and the Caves with the enclosed are should not be missed.

Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer Visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, Approx. 1 ½ hr. drive.
Polonnaruwa – Another “World Heritage Site” was the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th – 13th Centuries, contains some splendid and spectacular statues. Lankatilake, Tivanka and Thuparama are the most beautiful and largest Image Houses and Tivanka has the best example of frescoes of the Polonnaruwa period. RankothVehera and Kirivehera are well preserved large stupas, and Gal Vihare – a rock shrine, has four Buddha statues, two seated d, one standing and one reclining and ParakramaBahu statue are examples of Sinhalese stone carver.
Transfer to Minneriya National Park, Approx. 40 mins drive.
Jeep safari at the Minneriya National Park. Minneriya National Park – This National Park 8889 hectares in extent is famous for its large population of Elephants in herds of 100 to 150 roaming in the jungle and seen in the catchment area of the lake. The entrance is at Ambagaswewa about 6 km from Habarana on the main Habarana Polonnaruwa road. The office is by the side of the main road. Elephants, about 300 wild Elephants, Wild Buffaloes, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Sloth Bear, Sambhur, Crocodiles, Jackals, 9 kinds of amphibians, 25 kinds of reptiles, 160 species of birds.

Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Kandy, Approx. 2 ½ hrs drive.
Visit the Kandy temple of tooth relic. Temple of the Tooth Relic- which houses the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, is an important landmark in Kandy. The Tooth is kept in a two-story shrine fronted by two large elephant tusks and rests on a gold lotus flower, encased in jeweled casket that sits on a throne. The temple is decorated with beautiful local paintings and architectural features.
Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to watch the cultural dance of Kandy. Watch a Kandyan cultural show and be awed by the spectacular dance, acrobatics, costumes and music. Held in Kandy town, this cultural show depicts various forms of Kandyan dancing which was once native to the area but has now spread to different regions of the island.

Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel leave to Nuwara Eliya, Approx. 2 ½ drive
Enjoy a Short City tour of Nuwara Eliya.
Tea is a huge industry in Sri Lanka. Ceylon Tea is world famous for its taste, quality and the health benefits as well. You will see how the tea pluckers with their baskets and bags pluck tea leaves from the plantations. With women of various ages engaging in this activity, seeing the tea-plucking activity is fun and exciting. The trick is to pluck the right tea leaves with the correct properties. These tea leaves are then taken to the factories where the selection process starts. The fresh and best leaves are put into the machines for processing. The rolling, withering, and processing is all done with the help of the machines and a lot of helping hands gather around to do the packaging, and storing activities as well. You will also get the chance to taste a fresh cup of tea straight from the factory and you will definitely love it

Day 6
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Ella, Approx. 2 hrs. drive
Visit Nine Arch Bridge,
The Nine Arch Bridge also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country.
Thereafter transfer to Ravana Falls, Approx. 20 mins drive.
Ravana Falls – A nice waterfall of 90m altitude close to the road from Ella to Wellawaya about 6km south from Ela. The stream, a tributary of Kirindi Oya plunges with a foaming spray over a series of ledges into the valley close to a road bend. The waters rise from Wewatenns highland above the rocks (1050m NN). In general, the rocky underground of the waterfalls in Sri Lanka consists of hard gneiss or granite, but here the material is khondalite, a kind of limestone that undergoes decay faster. Thus, there are caves near the falls. Ravana of Ramayana legend is said to have lived in one of the caves above the waterfalls.

Day 7
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Galle, Approx. 3 hrs. drive.
The Galle Fort, or Dutch Fort as it is also known, is a fortification first built by the Portuguese on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. The initial fortifications, which were built in the late 16th century, were quite basic. However, the fort underwent extensive modifications in the 17th century by the Dutch, making it one of the most important archeological, architectural, and historic monuments to illustrate the European influence in South East Asia between the 16th and 19th centuries. According to a statement by UNESCO the site was recognized as a World Heritage Site for its unique exposition of an urban ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries which is the criterion number four for such recognition.
