HOTEL MARKO POLO BY AMINESS

Dubrovnik-South Dalmatia

Situated just a short walk from the centre of Korčula, Marko Polo Hotel by Aminess features an air-conditioned à-la-carte restaurant, a cafe and an on-site souvenir shop. Rooms and suites at the Marko Polo are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, a phone, a safe and a minibar. En-suite bathrooms provide a bath or shower and a hairdryer. All units provide a view of either the garden or the sea. The hotel restaurant serves high-quality cuisine, while the aperitif bar provides a nice spot for an evening drink. Guests have an indoor swimming pool at their disposal, while other facilities are shared with sister hotels and include a tennis court, bicycles for hire, a sailing and windsurfing centre and minigolf.

Visitors wishing to take a break from all that art may want to see the Plaza de Toros, Spain’s largest bullring, where regular bullfights are still held. Sports fanatics who like something a little less blood-thirsty can watch Real Madrid, or Atletico Madrid, two of Spain’s most famous football teams, kick-off. Madrid is also home to some gorgeous plazas and parks which are worth exploring.

The hotel is located in the centre of the Lapad peninsula, at 100 m from the main beach. Dubrovnik’s historical old town is 3 km from the hotel and can be reached by bus. Dubrovnik Airport is approximately 19 km from the property. The hotel offers 244 modern and spacious rooms. Each of the rooms comes with an en-suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a TV, a minibar and a safe. All rooms have a balcony, some offering fabulous views out over the sea. Upgraded rooms additionally come with a sitting area and a bathroom with a whirlpool bath. Guests can relax in the outdoor swimming pool and swim up to the bar for a variety of cocktails, ice cream and other refreshments. Travellers are also invited to the spa where they can indulge in a diverse range of massage
