DAY 2

In the morning join a guided excursion to Santa Claus Village, located at the Arctic Circle, north of the city. The place gives you a jolly and cheerful feeling of Christmas all year round. Explore the Santa Claus Village with a lot of Christmas and Lappish products to take back with you and greet Santa Claus in his office! Join the elves working in Santa´s post office and send postcards to all your friends with a special stamp on them. You will have the chance to see the reindeer and visit the Arctic Circle which runs right through the village. Get the Arctic Circle Certificate as an unforgettable travel memory. A tasty traditional Finnish lunch-buffet is included. Afternoon transfer to Apukka Resort, 18 km from the city. Dinner at the resort.
DAY 3
Rovaniemi, Finland
Breakfast at the resort. In the morning join a 2-hours husky safari. Huskies are one of the most loved animals of the north, and you will understand why when you meet the pack at Apukka. You can pet them, pose for photos with them and listen to stories about the life of the huskies. They love pulling loads and running on the trails across the forests. The highlight of the day is the 7–10 km long safari, where you get to be the musher yourself, in other words, control the team of huskies towing the sled. Dinner at the resort.
DAY 4
Rovaniemi, Finland
Breakfast at the resort At 10.00 Join the Apukka Reindeer journey. The excursion will start with a transfer to the reindeer farm where you will go on a sled ride. Following a peaceful pace, the reindeer will lead you on a journey through the forests. Enjoy the silence of the woods and the still atmosphere all around you and let these beautiful animals lead the way. After the sled tour is is time to relax with a hot drink by an open fire. You will return from the trip knowing a lot more about the life of the reindeer and the reindeer herders in Finnish Lapland. Late afternoon private transfer to Rovaniemi Airport for your departure flight.
