Where You'll Stay

Day 1 – 8: Sani Club Halkidiki

This beach resort is situated on the west coast of the magnificent Kassandra peninsula, the first of the three beach-fringed peninsulas of Halkidiki. It is close to the glorious and unspoiled beaches of the Sithonia peninsula. The bus station is roughly 9 km from the resort and Thessaloniki ‘Macedonia’ Airport is about 80 km away. This luxurious low rise hotel, with magnificent views over Mount Olympus and the Aegean, provides guests with an array of amenities. White sand and ancient olive groves adorn the surrounding hills. The magnificently welcoming bungalows, with contemporary design of soothing blue and white colours, provide a private setting with stunning views, while a choice of exciting cuisine ensures a very memorable stay.

What to do in Halkidiki

Halkidiki is a stunning region of Northern Greece, located on the south-east coast of the Aegean Sea. Its exceptional beauty has made it one of the most popular and desirable holiday destinations in Greece. With its crystal-clear waters, beautiful sandy beaches, secluded coves, unspoiled nature, ancient ruins, delicious cuisine and traditional villages, Halkidiki is the perfect destination for a relaxing beach holiday.

One of the highlights of Halkidiki is its three spectacular peninsulas; Kassandra, Sithonia and Mount Athos. Each offers its own unique experiences and attractions, including some spectacular resorts and luxurious hotels. Visitors can enjoy a variety of water sports activities including windsurfing, sailing, swimming and snorkelling. Halkidiki also has some of the best beaches in Greece with white sands, crystal clear waters and stunning views.

The area is also home to some wonderful archaeological sites, which provide insight into the region’s rich history. At Kassandra you can visit the ancient ruins at Stagira, home of the philosopher Aristotle, or explore a series of ancient churches at Kalamitsi. Meanwhile in Sithonia you can visit ancient castles and towers along the coast such as Toroni Castle. And finally Mount Athos, home to many monasteries, offers visitors a unique spiritual experience.
