What to Do in Saint Lucia
Discover the Pitons: The Pitons are one of the most iconic and recognizable landmarks of Saint Lucia, and they hold both natural and cultural significance. These two volcanic spires, Gros Piton and Petit Piton, rise dramatically from the Caribbean Sea on the southwestern coast of Saint Lucia.
The Pitons are quite significant to Saint Lucian history and folklore. They are often featured in local art, literature, and legends, and are considered a symbol of the island. The trails are well-maintained, and guided tours are available if you are adventurous enough to hike. The climb to the summit is incredibly rewarding as it offers stunning panoramic views of the island and the sea.
Beautiful Beaches: The beautiful beach at Cap Maison is known locally as “Smugglers Cove” and it’s a favorite spot for those looking to escape the crowds. It has a host of complimentary non-motorized water sports to entertain the more active. There are kayaks, Hobie Cat sailing, paddle boarding wind surfing and snorkeling on the house reef (with turtles if you are lucky!) to keep you amused and if you want to chill in an amazingly laid back way, try their hammock-on-the-rocks!
Golf: The St Lucia Golf and Country Club is literally a few minutes from the gates of Cap Maison. Raning from the Atlantic Coast to the Caribbean, it offers some of the most scenic challenging 18 holes of golf in the Caribbean.
While this undulating par-71 only plays 6,685 yards off the Blues, the course attracts a USGA rating of 74.3, taking well into account the strong winds, numerous water hazards, fast greens and 16 out-of-bounds which we hope you will not encounter during your round!
Entertainment: Enjoy evening entertainment in our dramatic cliff top locations from some of the most talented musical acts in Saint Lucia on selected evenings at Cap Maison. For more information please contact us and we will happily provide you our latest schedule of events.
Walk-In Wine Cellar: Enjoy an unique experience in Cap Maison’s Walk in Wine Cellar, with tastings throughout each week to tempt your palate with flights of unique wines. Each paired with a delectable assortment of amuse-bouche and interactive discussions guided by our sommelier. Alternatively, every Friday the team at Cellar Maison presents an array of cold cuts, charcuterie, and artisanal cheeses playfully paired with talk worthy wines and other interesting beverages.
