MSC Seaview’s main restaurants serve a mouthwatering blend of freshly prepared Mediterranean and international cuisine in elegant surroundings. And with a choice of superb speciality restaurants offering further variety, there’s a menu for every desire. Ocean Cay is a luxury fish restaurant that offers a mouth-watering proposal of sophisticated fish and shellfish made with the freshest ingredients, including scallop ‘a la Gallega’ with Iberian ham, fideuá of king crab and confit duck and rosemary salt roasted sea bass. The Butcher’s Cut is an American-style steak house serves select Linz heritage angus beef, gold standard in high-end angus beef thanks to the best genetics in breed. The highest quality product custom cut by master butchers and aged to perfection. The menu is inspired by the great plains and it is accompanied by bold New World wines and cocktails with swagger. L’Atelier Bistrot is a warm, friendly bistro that promises high-quality French cuisine: snacks from cheese and charcuterie to escargots and foie gras. For something more substantial, try ribeye steak fries & blue cheese sauce followed by a traditional French dessert. You can even pop in for a convivial, Parisian-style breakfast.

Entertainment

Connected directly to the top deck by two panoramic lifts, the Sunset Beach Pool offers plenty of space in the sun, as well as breathtaking views out over the back of the ship and across the water. The unique Panorama Pool is the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the panoramic sea views. Around the pool you’ll find a set of innovative sun loungers, designed to give you the chance to stay closer to the water than ever before. The Waterfront Boardwalk on deck 8 circumnavigates the ship, offering access to a wide variety of restaurants, bars and places to relax. From the glass skywalk on deck 16, on the other hand, guests can enjoy a jaw-dropping view of the sea from above. Extending over four decks, the multi-level glass-walled atrium represents an innovative and atmospheric entertainment venue for live music and other events. The two glass-floored catwalks beyond its glass walls offer guests spectacular ocean views. Cannes (Côte d’Azur), France

Genoa (Portofino), Italy

The port city of Genoa is the gateway to Italy’s glamorous riviera. Wander down its winding medieval alleyways, take in historical, Piazza Matteotti, and admire a magnificent cluster of 16th and 17th-century buildings. Genoa’s heritage as a naval power is evident in La Lanterna, a historical lighthouse built in 1543. Beyond the city, romantic towns can be found nestled along the coastline, including the gelati-coloured Portofino.

DAY 5

La Spezia (Cinque Terre), Italy

Overlooking the ‘Gulf of the Poets’, lies the Italian naval city of La Spezia. Here, a maze of atmospheric streets lead to an impressive commercial harbour with glamorous yachts and pretty palm trees. This bustling Liguria port boasts historical churches, museums, and gardens. Nearby, Cinque Terre, Pisa, and Florence  are just waiting to be discovered.

DAY 6

Rome, Italy

Be entranced by the many architectural wonders of Rome including the famous Colosseum. An ancient amphitheatre in the centre of the capital, built between 70 and 80 AD, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was commissioned by Roman Emperor Vespasian to entertain more than 50,000 people! Visit the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, a short walk from the amphitheatre. The Trevi Fountain is an icon of Rome, a Baroque beauty uniting architecture, sculpture, rocks, and water. Showcasing mythological figures, including Triton on a shell-shaped chariot, the Trevi Fountain is an Italian masterwork. This landmark structure has featured in films such as La Dolce Vita and Roman Holiday. A journey to Rome isn’t complete without a visit to Vatican City, located in the heart of the Italian Capital. Enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Museums which houses works by Da Vinci, Caravaggio, van Gogh, Dali, Picasso, and Gaugin.

Palma de Mallorca, Spain
